You'll be pleased to read that I won't be asking you to fill out a fifty-page questionnaire. No asking what bark your brand would have if it were a dog—pinky promise.
Instead, we'll get into the who, what and why of your brand over a chunky Zoom call. I need to know everything. Tip: Come caffeinated.
I'll send you a copy of the questions I'll be asking beforehand. And feel free to invite anyone else from your team who can help me get to the bones of your story.

Time for me to immerse myself in your brand, analyse competitors and go nerd-level on your best-fit customer profile.

The ProCopywriters 2024 survey pegs the UK average at £440 a day. I work out my rates on an average of £425 per day, because I'm nice. For website projects, the question shouldn't be 'how cheap can I get it?' but 'what’s the cost of copy that doesn’t sell?' My projects are priced on the strategy, research, and outcomes, not just the number of hours or days.
The usual is 50% upfront to secure your slot, 50% on delivery, but we can split that further for bigger projects. Flat fees mean you know exactly what you’re investing before we start.
That’s my job. And one of the reasons why my process starts with the deepest of dives into all things you and your brand — to uncover the stories, proof points, and tone that set you apart.
From kickoff to final sign-off, most projects take 4-10 weeks. It's a collaborative process, so some of it will depend on your availability for check-ins or to read through drafts, although I try to keep the whole thing as easy as possible for you.
My current wait time is around two weeks, so the sooner you book, the sooner your copy goes to work.
